The idea of Leaders For Tomorrow started with our founder Mr. Binoy Job encouraging his students to think out of the classroom walls. Our founder, who at the time was teaching journalism at Delhi College of Arts and Commerce in University of Delhi wanted to instil ‘social responsibility’ in the minds of students by involving them in small social action events.
Thus was born the initiative to visit shelter homes, old age homes, donate books and clothes to help the needy.
The idea grew into an organisation t on to at slowly went on to conduct social action events across the colleges of Delhi/NCR.
New programmes were taken up from the ideas put forward by our young leaders from different colleges. The programmes grew, encouraging the youth to discover its hidden leadership potential while understanding the major development challenges of the nation.
Realising its dream of becoming the largest talent pool of youth who want to lead change, gradually Leaders for Tomorrow became a turning point for many young aspiring students, who went on to achieve laurels in Development sector, public policy, journalism, management and leadership.
We have now also expanded into many new avenues such as Journalism and education with our projects such as Reporters for Tomorrow Programme, Igniting Young Minds and Soft Skills Development Programmes.
Today we are one of the fastest growing Youth empowering movements, bringing about social development by harnessing the talent and energy of the youth. We have been able to motivate several leaders of today to join hands with us and many eminent personalities from the bureaucracy and development arena and even the corporate world have pledged their patronage to our movement.
We believe that change starts with each one of us, and we are on a mission to prove that the change can be achieved.
Come, Let’s Change the World!
